The Orange Public Library is hosting a series of Summer Reading Programs for readers of all ages! Upon registration, participants will receive a reading log to record their reading and listening time. Readers will turn in their logs by July 25th to receive Library Bucks to be used at the Library Store during the Summer Program Carnival!
On Wednesdays from June 5th through July 24th from 10:30 am – 11:30 am, children going into 1st – 5th grades will participate in a different program each week, featuring art, agriculture, science, and wildlife! Readers will have an opportunity to participate in the following events:
- June 5: Nature Explorers presented by Shangri La Botanical Gardens
- June 12: Art in Every Direction presented by Stark Museum of Art
- June 26: Adventures In Your Garden presented by Sandra Hoke and the Master Gardeners
- July 3: Family Movie Event with showings at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm
- July 10: Candy Loves Chemistry presented by Beaumont Children’s Museum*
- July 17: Gator Country presented by Gator Country Beaumont Texas*

Readers must sign up at the library for a Summer Reading Program to attend any of the weekly events. Attendance is not mandatory and is free of cost. Registration begins Tuesday, May 28th with the first program beginning on June 5th.
