The Orange Public Library has a series of Summer Reading Programs for readers of all ages! Upon registration, participants will receive a reading log to record their reading and listening time. Readers will turn in their logs by July 26th to receive Library Bucks to be used at the Library Store!
The program for readers going into 1st – 6th Grades will be held on Wednesdays from June 7th through July 26th from 10:30 am – 11:30 am. Readers will have an opportunity to participate in the following events:
- 6/7: Potions, Motions and Emotions presented by Song Solutions with Mark Sheppard
- 6/14: Art Brings Us Together presented by Stark Museum of Art
- 6/21: Recycle Warriors presented by Shangri-La Botanical Gardens
- 6/28: Growing Together presented by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension
- 7/5: Family Movie Event – showings at 10:30 am and 2:00 pm
- 7/12: Science Superstars presented by Beaumont Childrens Museum at Riverside Pavilion
- 7/19: Gator Country at Riverside Pavilion
Readers must sign up at the library for a Summer Reading Program to attend any of the weekly events. Registration begins Tuesday, May 30th with the first program beginning on June 6th.
