The Orange Public Library is hosting a series of Summer Reading Programs for readers of all ages! Upon registration, participants will receive a reading log to record their reading and listening time. Readers will turn in their logs by July 25th to receive Library Bucks to be used at the Library Store during the Summer Program Carnival!
On Thursdays from June 6th through July 25th from 5:30 pm – 6:45 pm, high schoolers going into 9th – 12th grades will hang out in the library with a different activity each week, including video and board games, a murder mystery, and an escape room! Readers will have an opportunity to participate in the following events:
- June 6: Vision Board/Bucket List/Mini Golf
- June 13: Diamond Art/Painting
- June 20: Battleship/Hungry Hippos
- June 27: Pizza and a Movie
- July 11: Game Night
- July 18: Murder Mystery
- July 25: Escape Room – Incentive Drawings
Readers must sign up at the library for a Summer Reading Program to attend any of the weekly events. Attendance is not mandatory and is free of cost. Registration begins Tuesday, May 28th with the first program beginning on June 6th.
