Lamar State College Orange held a grand opening ceremony for its newly renovated Student Success Center, with LSCO staff, students, elected officials, and members of the community in attendance for the celebration!
Originally built in 1914 as the First Baptist Church of Orange, the historic building has undergone extensive renovations to become the new LSCO Student Success Center. This beautifully restored facility now houses key student-focused departments, including Admissions, Advising, Cashiering, Financial Aid, Student Services, and Recruiting, making it easier for students to navigate enrollment and access support throughout their academic journey. Through the collaborative efforts of LSCO, the Stark Foundation, and other supporting organizations, this historic building has been preserved and repurposed to serve the community for generations to come.
Congratulations to LSCO on this exciting milestone, and thank you to everyone who contributed to this beautiful transformation!
