The 2025 Summer Reading Program was one for the books! Check out some of the events from the summer, and stay tuned for information on the 2026 Summer Reading Program!

Wednesdays from 10:45 am - 11:15 amPreschool Read-to-Me


The Preschool Read-to-Me Summer Reading Program will be held on Wednesdays from June 4th through July 9th from 10:45 am – 11:15 am. Each week, a different member of the community will read to children and their guardians in the Children’s Room at the library!

  • June 4th: Mayor Larry Spears Jr.
  • June 11th: Tabitha Henderson, W.H. Stark House
  • June 18th: Council Member Paul Burch
  • June 25th: David Post & Students
  • July 2nd: Color Lab presented by Beaumont Children’s Museum at Riverside Pavilion
  • July 9th: Gator Country at Riverside Pavilion
  • July 16th: Summer Reading Program Library Carnival

How to Participate:

Readers can sign up at the library for a Summer Reading Program to attend any of the weekly events. Attendance is not mandatory and is free of cost. Registration begins Tuesday, May 27th, with the first program beginning on June 4th. 

When children register, they will receive a reading log to record their reading/listening time. Participants will receive a Library Buck for each program attended and for returning their reading logs during the Library Carnival. All Library Bucks may be spent at the Library Store during the Library Carnival!
