Reference Department
The Reference staff is available to assist you in your research needs and provide referrals to other sources and agencies. If you are not able to visit the library in person, reach them by phone at 409-883-1053 or 409-883-1086; however, telephone is not preferred for complicated or in-depth reference questions.
The library has a reference collection of books available to assist you with your information needs. Although reference books do not circulate, you may make copies for $0.15 a page.
Interlibrary Loan
The Orange Public Library works with libraries across the country to obtain items not owned by our local library. Any patron with a card in good standing may submit requests for materials.
